The HEM Saw H130 Band Saw Machine For High Production Cutting

If you need a high production band saw, the HEM Saw H130 is an ideal choice. Gerald R. Harris founded HEM Saw,  in January of 1964. The company now has more than 200 employees in three different facilities in Pryor Oklahoma.

HEM manufactures more than 70 different models of production band saws. One of the most successful achievements they have realized  was when they created the H 130 Series of Band Saw Machines. The  cutting capacity on this series of machines ranges from 16” x 16” W to 10” x 20” W when cutting shapes. All three run with a 10 HP motor and 2 HP hydraulics. This is perhaps, the most popular series of band saws in the HEM line.

Why choose the H130 Series?

The pivot point on the HEM Saw H130 Series is very wide and improves the efficiency of the saw head as it moves through the cutting area. The machines are equipped with a  pressed bronze bushing that is located in the rotating area. This innovative implement increases the life of the pivot.

Equalized Weight

Operationally, the band saw machine goes through less of an angular change through the cut because the pivot is elevated above the cutting zone. This equalizes the weight of the band saw head giving a more uniform weight change when cutting through the material being cut.

HEM Saw machines are also fitted with a spring compensation system that helps keep the center of gravity equal when the saw head is raised. This system keeps the center of gravity equal all throughout the cut.

Increased Stability

The HEM Saw H130 uses flat carbide guides to increase the stability of the blade through the work piece by providing support on each side of the band saw blade. The saws utilize a heavy duty feed system for automatic bar feed. They also feature a patented “Triple Link” floating vise system to keep a piece that may get out of square when bundled, from binding. The vises gives you more flexibility and ease in operation and comes in a standard, infinite variable clamping pressure to approximately 800 lbs.

HEM Saw has a 30-year reputation for manufacturing some of the most quality, durable band saw machines in the industry. HEM Saw remains a leader in the band saw industry, consistently setting the standard with more patented innovations than any other band saw manufacturers in the world. The HEM Saw H130 Series will give you an accurate band sawing operation for many years due to their reputation for durability, reliability and functionality.
