The Trajan 712N Series 2 is a manual, pivot type bandsaw machine that is widely used in job shops and small fabricators.

Trajan 712 Saw Details

The Trajan 712N Series 2 has a cutting capacity of 7” x 12”, which provides ample cutting capacity for a very affordable price. This cutting machine incorporates a 7’-9” x ¾” saw blade to provide fast production rates and square saw cuts while maintaining economical blade costs.

Engineered to Increase Blade Life

The adjustable guide arm along with blade guide roller bearings provide  stability of the saw blade ensuring square, accurate cuts on all types of material. The saw head is made from cast material, this will dampen the vibration during cutting. This feature allows operators to use bimetal or Carbide blades to cut high alloy steels. The heavy duty design will increase blade and machine life.

The saw head can also be stood up vertically and used as a contour type saw when the cutting plate is installed, giving you the flexibility to have both a Horizontal and Vertical band saw in one machine. The 712N Series 2 is powered by a 1 Horse Power blade drive motor using a step pulley blade speed system with blade speeds of 135, 197 and 256 feet per minute.

Accurate Controls

Featuring a manual tensioning mechanism, the Trajan 712N makes changing blades easy and gives you the proper band tension with every blade. The 712N is made with a cast vise base and saw vise and the ability to swivel the vise for miter cutting up to 45 degrees in one direction. The down feed controls on the 712N feature a decent rate control giving you more precise control over the feed rate of the saw head.

Convenience and Quick Clean Up

The Trajan 712N features a completely self contained coolant system to increase blade life. In addition to the coolant system for keeping the blade clean a chip brush has been incorporated into the design to assist in removing chips from the blade teeth. The saw is equipped with caster wheels and a handle for easy portability in your shop.
