The Trajan 510A Dual Column Band Saw

With a large capacity of 20″ for round bar or pipe and 20″x28″ for rectangular material, the Trajan 510A needs a motor that’s able handle the added surface penetration required for cutting larger pieces. This cutting machine comes with a 7.5 horsepower motor, enabling it to cut through the toughest materials.

Trajan 510A Cutting Details

This saw comes with a 19′-2″x1-1/2″ blade that allows more pressure to be applied to the cutting surface. The 1-½” blade allows you to increase pressure on the material when being cut and saves valuable production time. The Trajan 510A is also capable of running a carbide tipped blade for cutting exotic materials such as Inconel, Monel, Hastalloy and Stainless Steels. With a variable speed inverter drive you are able to cut at speeds of 65-325 surface feet per minute.

The Trajan 510A has standard features that make life easier for saw operators, such as a work light that illuminates the work area.  A closed-in coolant system helps to maintain coolant life. It’s stainless steel coolant lines for direct coolant application. The hydraulic blade tensioning system takes away the guessing game when applying blade tension. This assures proper blade  tension every time. With an adjustable hydraulic vise, you are assured proper pressure on materials to be cut. This feature allows you to cut thin wall material as well as solids. Along with a seven segment digital read-out, the Trajan 510A is certainly a bandsaw built to handle the toughest jobs  in it’s capacity class.
