The Trajan 916 also has a carbide guide system with roller bearings as pre-guides. This feature reduce the vibration and prolong blade life. The guide system also ensures you can take full advantage of the Trajan 916’s cutting capacity for all variety of metals.

Opens Up Project Potential

The Trajan 916 offers saw operators more options. It comes standard with an infinitely variable blade speed pulley system, providing a range of speeds from 95 to 402 fpm. Until now, this type of blade speed control was only available on higher-priced production saws.

Operators also gain more control thanks to the Trajan 916’s heavy-duty cast base and saw vise. This combination enable operators to swivel the vise to cut up to 45 degrees in one direction.

Precise Cuts and Operator Safety

On other 916 saws, operators have to get the work piece close to the blade in order to measure for the cut. This practice can endanger saw operators and make accurate measurement difficult. To ensure more precise cuts and enhance saw user safety, the Trajan 916 has a laser guide. It assists in positioning the work piece and assuring correct measurement.

When band saws are easier to run, jobs are finished faster and more accurately. The down feed controls on the Trajan 916 separate feed and hold from descent rates, so you can achieve exact control over the saw head’s feed rate.

Increased Cutting Capability

All the upgrades to the Trajan 916 meant it needed a self-contained coolant system. This provides a constant and steady coolant flow, which increases cutting capabilities for harder materials and increases blade life. We recommend you use an AF 2000 semi-synthetic or AF 3000 full synthetic coolant.

Quick Clean Up

The Trajan 916 also has a chip brush standard in its design. The chip brush helps remove chips from the blade teeth and stores them in a chip box, which is easy to remove and clean out. The conveniences incorporated into the Trajan 916 help saw operators reduce and simplify clean-up time.
