HEM VT200 Band Saw

The HEM VT200 comes with a host of powered features that make operation efficient and simple. The guide arm, blade tension, and raised lift up rollers are all powered. The tilt is also powered – furthermore, it’s programmable and has a LED read out on the freestanding control console.

 
Automated systems on the HEM VT200 band saw make it easy for operators to maintain control of the cut. It includes a 0-72″ Stroke Bar-Feed with the ability to lift the feed table and operate lift rollers during the feeding cycle. The rollers also go all the way through the feed system. The saw also comes standard with a blade saver system and a cut watcher system.

Helps Prolong Blade Life

In addition to the blade saver system, HemSaw designed the HEM VT200 band saw with features to protect blades while the saw cuts. Flat carbide blade guides keep blades steady during the cut, protecting them from damage due to vibration. The coolant system, chip conveyor system, and powered blade chip brush work in concert to keep the blade at an acceptable temperature and to clear chips away from both the blade and the essential parts of the saw.
